Éirinn go Brách

Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone:) May you all have donned the color green and not been pinched by any overzealous Leprechauns out there!

St. Patrick, was a Patron Saint of Ireland, and is known for his work of converting much of Ireland to Christianity. His mission in Ireland lasted for over 30 years, during which time he’s credited for setting up many churches and schools through the country. Folklore tells of him driving the snakes out of Ireland (which is thought to be a metaphor for the pagans), and he was in constant battle with the Druids.

Most famously, however, is how he taught of the Holy Trinity. He used the shamrock as an example. Showing how there could be 3 separate beings in one entity.

May your days be many, and your life full of Luck:) AND, a glorious friend to serve as your DD tonight, should you choose to partake in the green beer!

And to leave you with a true Irish blessing:

May you live to be a hundred years,
With one extra year to repent!
